USING Arkus
Build your first agent
What do I need to get started?
Once you have signed up for the Arkus platform, any additional requirements depend on your specific project and vision. In general, you’ll need access to an AI model (the brain powering your AI agent). Arkus chat will inform you if you need additional tools or credentials and will guide you through setting them up.
Do I need coding skills to use Arkus AI?
No. The Arkus AI Agent Builder is very accessible for non-technical users. You can start to build agents by having a conversation with the platform about your needs.
If you’d like to get more technical, you can dive into agent architecture and start visually connecting components (agent blocks) in a no-code interface. Or, if you are a skilled coder, the platform also supports more technical control over agent creation.
What are templates, and when should I use them?
Templates are pre-built agents designed specifically for health, wellness, and life science use cases. They represent best practices and accelerate your time to value. Each template represents an efficient flow that can be further customised to fit your individual needs, rather than building from scratch.
When to use a template:
- You’re building a solution similar to existing workflows
- You want to learn by example
- You need to move quickly from idea to working agent
For example, if you need to create a staff scheduling solution that accounts for availability, personal circumstances and fairness, you can start with one of our templates. The logic and architecture will already be in place and the conversational agent builder will help you adjust any specific details. Even when starting with a template, you can modify, extend, or remove any part of it.
