What does the agent do
The agent performs as frontdesk assistant to meet patients and get the necessary information before the manual triage step.
The agent begins by greeting the patient, introducing the clinic, and briefly explaining the scope of primary care. It also advises that emergency services are more appropriate for severe or life-threatening situations.
The agent’s primary function is to understand the purpose of the visit and collect relevant patient intake information in accordance with the Swedish guidelines.
Once the necessary information is gathered, the agent requests the patient’s consent for clinic staff to access their medical records.
Finally, the agent presents a summary of the collected information and consent, and informs the patient that the details will be shared with medical staff, who will follow up accordingly.
